History

Established in 1942.

In a growing Salt Lake City our store began in 1942 as Frank's Mend-It Shop selling everything from lawnmowers and Kawasaki's to early Schwinn cruisers. Although we began as a Do-It-All shop most people remember us as Hyland Schwinn Cyclery. Hyland Schwinn Cyclery was one the nations premier Schwinn Bicycle retail stores throughout the 60's, 70's and 80's. Due to the Schwinn bankruptcies of the 90's we became the Hyland Cyclery of today. Today's Hyland Cyclery is one of the Nations top Trek Bicycle dealers and is very proud to be family owned and operated.
